Leona Cheung (she/her) is an educator and designer based in Los Angeles who primarily designs for communication and the web. Previous work includes a range of print and digital projects from branding to websites. Her creative practice uses multisensory design to explore poetic questions about ecologies, such as how to bring humans and the natural world closer through approachable methods using scent or sound.
She has taught at Cal State LA and Rutgers and graduated with a MFA in Design from Rutgers in 2023. Previous work includes print and digital projects such as branding, posters, email newsletters, graphics, icons, and websites. She has worked with organizations such as IEEE, AIGA Los Angeles, Type Thursday LA, Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts, the 2023 Rutger’s Biodesign Challenge Team, and the Zimmerli Art Museum.
